Painted Axe — Custom Painted Guitars for Fundraisers, Raffles & Music Events

Painted Axe crafts commissioned, hand-painted guitars and gear that help organizations raise money and make events unforgettable — from festival fundraisers to silent auctions and branded promotions.

Painted Axe creates commissioned, hand-painted guitars and gear for fundraisers, raffles, silent auctions, festivals, concerts, and promotional events.

Each piece is an original work of art designed around the event, organization, artist, brand, or story it represents. The goal is simple: create something people notice, photograph, talk about — and want to own.

Unlike a typical auction item, a Painted Axe guitar is both functional and collectible. It combines the visual impact of original artwork with the emotional connection people already have to music and musical instruments.

Painted Axe also creates custom guitars for brands, sponsors, festivals, and promotional campaigns. Logos, event artwork, themes, and other branded elements can be incorporated into the design while preserving the look and character of an original piece of art.

Projects include electric guitars, acoustic guitars, bass guitars, guitar cases, drum heads, and other music-related gear.

Every commission is developed collaboratively. We work with you to understand the purpose of the project, the audience, the visual direction, and how the finished piece will be used — then create artwork designed specifically for that setting.

Founded by artist Michael Gauf, Painted Axe has more than 20 years of experience creating commissioned guitar art for bands, festivals, nonprofits, organizations, and music events.

Whether you need a centerpiece for a fundraiser, a memorable raffle prize, a collectible for a silent auction, or a branded guitar for a special event, Painted Axe can create a one-of-a-kind piece built around your idea. Make the guitar part of the event — not just another item in it.
